Tilly Spetgang's Zook Soup on a "Feeling Good" day
I've been making
Zook Soup for years, using a recipe my mom sent me, photocopied from the Philadelphia Bulletin (which stopped publishing in 1982.) The story that goes with the recipe is just as wonderful as the soup. It reminds me of the song "It's A Great Day To Be Alive" by Travis Tritt.
